If you live locally, there are plenty of incredible festivals you can attend throughout the home counties this summer. We’ve put together a list of five family friendly ones that you might enjoy. From small festivals to large national ones, we’ve got something for everyone.

With a host of brilliant bands and legendary artists, across the huge Main Outdoor Stage and Big Top Stage, this will be one of THE festivals of the Summer.”

With great music, a Kid’s Kingdom and so much more, it’s a great escape and a must go festival this summer. From Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August in Codicote, Hertfordshire, under 5’s go free and they have a special kids ticket at reduced rate. Plenty of music and activities to keep the whole family happy.
From the 23rd to 26th August, Claydon Estate, Buckingham will be the home of the Towersey Festival (for the last time), a truly family friendly festival where everyone can get involved. “Get ready for our fullest, most eclectic, most inspiring and frankly jaw dropping line up! AND, if that wasn't enough, check out all the other stuff going on... workshops, dancing, activities, games, street entertainment. Start your planning now!” and if you were wondering if it really is the most family friendly event, the organisers have said: “Babies, teens, parents and grandparents - you'll see them all across our beautiful site. Discovering music, learning new skills, meeting new people, eating delicious lunches... Together. Our festival for young and old alike is called 'Evolving' (this year kindly supported by our friends at Dynamic Stretch Tents). With activities for all ages to discover alone, with family or with new friends, Towersey really does cover all ages.”
